A stroll in the country

A quiet day through to Logrono and the beginning of the Rioja region, famous for its wines.
Still lots of windmills (eat your heart out Tony Abbott!) dancing on the ridges and a carpet of wildflowers.
Loved this bit of encouragement through the ugly entry to Logrono:

  2. Hi Kate

When we walked through this region in September the colours were so different - it was baked and brown. Needless to say we took a photo of that same buen camino sign painted in Logrono. We meditated in that church in Torres del Rio, distracted not by the guards lady but by a Japanese film crew doing a documentary. They actually interviewed Sarah about meditation - she may have mentioned Benedictus!

We are loving your photos and posts, thank you.

    Buen camino
